Vera is Chief Executive Officer of Clarus offices in Munich, Frankfurt, Hamburg, Berlin.
Prior to joining Clarus, Vera worked as Vice President for Heitman in London, Moscow and Warsaw – initially in the Acquisitions Group where she sourced and underwrote new investment opportunities and later in the Portfolio & Asset Management team where she managed EUR 750mln of German, Polish and Russian assets across the office, logistics, retail, and residential real estate classes totaling 500,000 sqm. Previously Vera worked for four years at the EBRD as an Associate where she was responsible for analyzing and underwriting new direct and indirect real estate investments – structured as senior debt, equity or mezzanine with a transaction volume of EUR 500 mln.
Vera received a BA in International Relations from the Technical University of Dresden and a MSc in Economics from the University of York.
Hans is Head of Asset Management for the German portfolio of Clarus Management GmbH and in charge of all strategic and operational matters with regards to our German assets. During the last decade, Hans worked as Asset Manager for various international clients of Invesco Germany and Euramco Asset Management with strong focus on performance of logistic assets, larger office buildings and retail power centres & shopping malls throughout Germany and Austria. His range of experience also covers SPV management, finance requirements, larger portfolio acquisition support, forward purchase handling and support of several portfolio disposals, like “Bordeaux” portfolio recently sold in 2018, where he was also heading the assistance services of larger number of external professionals. Longer ago, after studies of macroeconomics at Ludwig Maximilians Universität (Munich) he had obtained a Certified Real Estate Degree by IHK (Munich) and an ADA allowance by IHK (Munich) later in 2003. His career commenced as broker at Müller International (now BNP Paribas Real Estate) and subsequent positions with BIAG and Goldbeck Project GmbH. For the latter, his letting and tenant relationship management prepared investment decisions essentially, before he joined MEAG (Munich and Stuttgart) to change from letting tasks solely and engage in the variety of challenges of commercial asset management, especially by participation in a disposal of assets over 1 BLN EUR ending his first decade in our industry.
Denis is CFO at Clarus Management GmbH and responsible for financial planning and monitoring of the Company. Denis coordinates finance, tax, and administrative matters of Clarus Management GmbH and is the first point of contact for Company’s investors for financial reporting and asset control.
In his previous role as Head of Controlling Department in Germany’s third biggest private oil tank operations company Denis consulted CEO and CFO on budgeting and controlling matters, carried out negotiations for loan financing & covenants monitoring and managed external parties relations in various business development projects. Also, his role covered the financial management of an affiliated mid-sized development and real estate company.
Denis has Diploma degree in Business Administration from Hamburg University of Economics and Politics and Master Degree in International Business from Moscow Institute of International Business.
Jochen is the Technical Director of Clarus Management GmbH and responsible for all technical issues of the buildings under management including development works, capex projects and tenant fit-out works.
Prior to joining up with Clarus, Jochen has worked for an international asset management company, where he was technical asset manager for a portfolio of EUR 700mln in several European countries. Jochen has gained a solid technical understanding when working at a renowned project developing company, as well as in one of the top five general contractors in Germany. Additionally Jochen has led the technical team of 12 people at a medium sized property and facility management company, managing a regional portfolio of 40 buildings.
Jochen has a Diploma degree in architecture from the University of Applied Sciences in Frankfurt.
As Asset Manager, Christian manages and oversees all administrative, financial, capital and operational aspects of the assigned portfolio.
In his previous role as Asset Manager / Portfolio Manager at Swiss Finance & Property AG Christian was in charge of the managing of several mixed-used properties with a volume of about 470M Swiss Francs.
He managed external providers, was responsible for systematic portfolio analysis and value add initiatives. Also, he was in charge of negotiating all commercial contracts for the portfolio and planning the annual budgets as well as capex programmes for the portfolio where he had the commercial lead of all construction works. In addition he was responsible for financial accounting and assissted the Investment and Valuation Team. Prior he was Head of Property Management.
Christian received a Diploma in Real Estate Management from the DIA and is Certified Real Estate Professional by IHK.
David manages and oversees all administrative, financial, capital and operational aspects of Opernplatz 14 in Frankfurt am Main.
Prior to join Clarus, David worked as a Property Manager for various Property Management Companys. As a key account function, David was the first contact for clients. He was responsible for the technical and commercial part of the properties. David controlled and optimized all external service providers, led the process of rental contract negotiations and accompanied them until the completion of the construction fit outs. Also he was responsible for planning and controlling of the annual budget.
David holds a Bachelor of Engineering and Master of Science in Real Estate from Mainz University, Germany.
Prior to joining Clarus Management GmbH and during the last semester of his studies, Maximilian was a working student for a Real Estate Development company in Frankfurt am Main. He successfully supported the company’s acquisition of new projects, arrangement for project related loans and assisted intense research of possible target markets for future projects. Maximilian holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Real Estate Management of the University of Applied Science in Wiesbaden, Germany.
